Welcome
Nantwich Camera Club is located in the scenic South Cheshire town of Nantwich, famous for its magnificent fourteenth century Church of St. Mary (known locally as the cathedral of South Cheshire), its many pubs, and in history, Nantwich was the centre for the brine industry.
History
Nantwich Camera Club was founded in 1981 by the current president of the club, John Dodd Esq. The club is affiliated to the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU) and The Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB). Currently we have more than forty members.
New Members
New members are always welcome and are cordially invited to attend four meetings without obligation to join (subject to a small visitor’s attendance fee). Previous photographic experience is not necessary for membership. Advice can be provided relating to all aspects of photography and photographic equipment, both digital or film based.
If your photographic interests leave you with a desire to increase your knowledge or aspire to produce images of a higher standard, then the competitive environment of club competitions provide the ideal opportunity for rapid progress.
All members benefit greatly from the many visiting lecturers who freely share their individual expertise and creativity within an entertaining environment.
